About Us

ModoWorks started as a family side project - equal parts creative outlet and an excuse to teach our kids how business actually works. We’ve always liked making things, breaking things, and figuring it all out as we go. Dad loves tinkering with the 3D printer and mom has a background in marketing and ecommerce so you can see how we got here.

After spending years working in tech, burned out and increasingly hearing “AI is coming for your job,” mom decided to make it easier for everyone involved - she left. Now we design and print plastic things for people who love football, fandom, and the occasional weird gift. Let's see AI take this job from her.

What began at the kitchen table has turned into a small but growing shop with 1,000+ customers and counting. (We can't believe it.) Everything we sell is made by us in our little shop in the backyard, with help (and commentary) from our kids.

Behind the Scenes

  • Prepping to Print

    We go through a LOT of Buffalo Blue filament. This spool was being loaded up so we could run overnight to fulfill all our orders for MVP keychains.
